(This article should precede my initial blog posting titled, ‘the heart of God’.)

Science has maintained that man’s creation can best be explained by evolution. This article however is intended, from the writer’s point of view, to be an understanding of the earth’s creation. On one side of the argument are those who believe that man has evolved by a continuous chain of reproduction, over millions of years, from far simpler creatures and on the other side of it are the creation scientists. Christians who have faith that the account of the creation of the world and of man given in the book of Genesis is "literally true"; since this account cannot be reconciled with that of evolution, they maintain -- in good faith -- that evolution is false. I happen to be in this school of thought. There is a questing that my little mind has been struggling to find an answer to. If indeed man’s existence was through evolving, by a continuous chain of reproduction, from far simpler creatures, how come there has not been a single discovery of a new man through and by the same process. Another questing would have to be existence of the birds of the air, the fishes of the seas and of course, the beasts of the field.

In Gen 1, the vivid descriptive nature of God and the process through which He created the earth cannot be over-emphasized. (go to the blog 'heart of God for continuation).
